Islington has, for years, been home to a vibrant mix of creatives, thespians and politicos creating one of the most cosmopolitan and colourful locations in London. Thane Villas is located in the centre of the borough towards Highbury, close to the former Arsenal stadium of the same name – itself recently converted into residential accommodation following the completion of The Emirates Stadium.
It’s fair to say that this small project was an opportunistic purchase for us and the developer. In truth, the price at £499,000 was too good to pass up and it fell at a time when there was capacity in the system for a very quick turn around and flip. That said a £123,000 profit with minimal input from the management team is not to be turned down.
The house is now a splendid example of the many similar properties in the area with three double bedrooms, bi-fold doors from the kitchen to the cottage garden and the highest standard fittings throughout.
