Property TV is the UK´s only television channel dedicated to the industry. Broadcast on Sky channel 192, it provides viewers with an extensive platform that showcases a daily dose of property entertainment, information and education.
Sky´s 13 million+ subscribers were given a sneak peek into our latest project, gaining insider information and exclusive development details directly from Jamie Chapman, Riverside Place´s constructor and the CEO of Store House London.
This episode encapsulates the project´s entirety, touching on the characteristics of the building and what steps we´ll be taking to transform this unused hidden gem into top-quality, modern accommodation.
Showcasing the unrivalled location of Riverside Place is best done through video as the short walk to the River Thames on quaint cobbled streets, the hustle and bustle of the town centre featuring an abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants can be experienced through a lens that represents the eyes of a fortunate tenant and local.
As if the reason for undertaking this highly-promising project needed to be justified, Jamie Chapman explains exactly why Riverside Place is going to storm the market and how our team expects this to happen.
The building benefits from fantastic transport links such as the M25 and the Kingston Railway Station that cover the 10 miles to Central London and the rest of the UK. But even though Riverside Place is situated in a central location, the building stands alone and doesn´t suffer from any through traffic, both very rare features for London property.
The highly sought after area of Kingston upon Thames is lacking in projected developments meaning demand is vastly outweighing supply. The levels of housing stock are low, and multiple units are even rarer; with Riverside Place the only major project in the area until 2023, none of the team are even slightly concerned about end-product sales.
Property TV´s interview enabled Jamie Chapman to describe the extensive due diligence process and the details given by quantity surveyors from the bank and Store House London, the project manager, the demolition team and the Savills valuer.
We recently exchanged on Riverside Place and expect to complete within the next three weeks. As we aim to get started on the construction process immediately, this is when the demolition down to the first-floor plate will take place. With the demolition completed pre-Christmas, the re-build and end-sale advertisement can be rolled out in the New Year.
